The Division would like to acknowledge the Boxing Summer Camp which took place at Hopwood Hall on the 25th to 27th July 2007. Our Divisional Coach John Hart helped to run the camp and ensure quality sessions were delivered.
The feedback that we have had from Jimmy Barker is that the 28 participants enjoyed the experience which improved their knowledge and technique of the sport.
Also worthy of note was the visit from Amir Khan on the Thursday 26th July. A great gesture which was well received by all of the participants.
Hopwood Hall is one of the best Boxing Training facilities in the country and we are pleased that it is based within our Division.
We are also pleased to accept the kind donation of £200 from Hopwood Hall which will be used by the Division for Boxing Development.
Yours In Sport
Kevin Williams
Honorary Secretary
